Caring for Ornament Rotating Motors

• For indoor use only.
• For temporary (90 days max.) installation and use only.
• Connect no more than three ornaments to each lighting string or decorative outfit.
• Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles or other similar sources of heat.
• Do not secure the wiring of this product with staples or nails or place on sharp hooks or nails. Use the twist wire supplied with the Ornamotor.
• Do not let lamps rest on a supply cord or on any wire.
• Do not hang ornaments or other objects from the cord, card, wire or string.
• Do not close doors or windows on the product or an extension cord as this ma damage the wire insulation.
• When in use, do not cover the product with paper, or any material not part of the product. 
• Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night and if leaving unattended.
• Disconnect the lighting string from an outlet before removing a lamp and replacing it with an ornament
• Do not connect to blinking light sets.
• Do not connect more than 3 ornaments to each lighting string or decorative outfit.

• Use only on standard UL listed series/parallel 35 light strings using 3.5 volt bulbs or 50 or 100 lights 2 way strings using 2.5 volt bulbs.
• For use with a series of connected string or decorative outfit which employs 2.4-3.5 VAC push-in lamps only and which complies with the requirements of UL 588 or equivalent.
• This seasonal use product is not intended for permanent installation or use.
• This is an electrical product not a toy. To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric shock, it should not be played with or placed where small children or animals can reach it. 
• Do not use this product for anything other than its' intended use.
• Disconnect the lighting string or decorative outfit from the outlet before removing a lamp and replacing it with the ornament.

• When the product is placed on a live tree, the tree should be well secured, well maintained, stable, upright and fresh. Do not place on live trees if the needles are brown, dropping or branches break off easily. Keep the tree holder filled with water.
• Before using or reusing, inspect the product carefully discard any product that has cut, damaged or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the lamp holders or enclosures, loose connections or exposed copper wire.
• When storing the product, carefully remove the product from wherever it is placed, including trees, branches or bushes to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product conductors, connections or wires.
• When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from the sunlight. If rotator uses a battery, remove the battery before storage.

Can Ornament motors be used with LED light sets? In a word, no. At the present time, neither Ornamotions or Ornamotors are compatible with LED light sets. The energy saving feature that makes the LED lights desirable renders them useless for many holiday lighting accessories. The LED powering device does not generate enough energy to rotate the motor inside of the Ornament rotator and/or rotate an ornament. However, we've been assured (as of 2019) that manufacturers are working on this problem and if it can be resolved, ornament motors for LED's will be available soon.
